Wheeler, Capella's former "Vice President of Advising
and Academic Support" (is that a mouthful or what?) refused
to correspond with students - in fact, she
just ignored them. While she refuses to communicate with students,
other jerks and liars from Capella ensured
that Lisa Wheeler remained part of Capella's gossip chain regarding the very students she ignores. While rumor has it that she quick suddenly (perhaps without notice) we still want to give her some credit for her abuse of students.
Sadly, her hilarious bio on Capella University's web
site is now gone but it did stated that:
"The focus of her higher education career
has been on assisting students to meet their educational goals
and on working to make universities responsive to student
needs, especially adult and minority students."
Oh, really? That's news to us! Just the same, it's going to be a lot of
fun to watching her explain, during the deposition that she'll be required to give
as part of the current lawsuit against Capella University. It should be very enlightening to hear just how Lisa Wheeler made the University "more responsive" to the students with learning disabilities
that she helped retaliate against. As with passive-aggressive cowards
everywhere, Lisa Wheeler also had some of her underlings (including Tamara
Kuchar) do her dirty work.
