Capella University Continues to Give Student Loan Xpress Preferential Treatment!
 Just a week ago, Capella's idiot CEO finally revealed his true colors when he had the audacity to tell Minnesota's Pioneer Press that:
"We take the issue raised by the New York Attorney General seriously and remain committed to the highest standards of quality and integrity,"
So, what's wrong with that? Well, a real CEO who was genuinely concerned about being "committed to the highest standards of quality and integrity," would have taken immediate action to halt his company's s unethical and, more than likely, illegal actions. Steve Shank; however, is simply too much of an unethical moron (just like his employees) to do that. Considering that the national news media has been having a field day with Capella's Director of Financial Aid, Timothy Lehmann, who has apparently been caught accepting kickbacks from Student Loan Xpress (a company on which he also serves on the board of directors), along with the fact that both the United States Senate and the House of Representatives have launched investigations into this scam, any real CEO would have caused a lot of heads to roll. Not Stupid Steven! He's such a moron that even though the New York Times broke the story (on April 14, 2007) reported that:
"A top executive of a student loan company asked Capella University to re-order its list of recommended lenders, according to documents being reviewed by Senate officials who are examining the relationship between the loan company and the academic institution,"
Stupid Steven continues to allow Capella University to provide Student Loan Xpress with preferential placement by placing their company at the very TOP of their "Recommended Placement Lists" (April 22, 2007) - more than a full week after the New York Times broke the story.
We were able to obtain screen captures of Capella's "Recommended Lender Lists": these have already been sent to both the Senate and House officials conducting the investigation into Capella's latest scam! Obviously, Shank is such a moron that he permits his thugs to continue their blatant disregard for ethics by his own refusal to do anything. (Perhaps he wants to rake in a few more bucks while he still has a chance).
As noted, we've obtained screen captures from Capella's web site that demonstrate that they continue to give preferential treatment to Student Loan Xpress.
